Water Pump Rebuilding
Water pumps are an essential part of the engine cooling system. They transfer cool water from the radiator to the engine. As the engine runs, the fan belt spins the water pump and draws cool water from the radiator and pumps it into the engine, forcing the heated water out of the engine and back into the radiator to start the process all over again.
If you notice coolant leaking out of your water pump's weep hole, it's time to get it rebuilt. This means the water pump has begun to wear, the gasket that seals the weep hole is likely eroded and your engine is at risk of dangerous overheating.
Older water pumps used a shaft with bushings and a packing nut, more modern pumps use a sealed bearing & shaft assembly. Egge can rebuild your new or old style water pumps with a new shaft and bearing or packing nut as needed along with new seals. We also carry many new and rebuilt water pumps with core exchange. Let it flow with a simple call.
