General Limited Warranty and Return Policy

This General Limited Warranty applies to products manufactured by Egge Machine Company (EMC) and is limited in duration to six (6) months from the original purchase date. To be covered by this General Limited Warranty, products must be returned to EMC within six (6) months of the original purchase date. Products purchased from EMC that are not manufactured by EMC are covered by the original manufacturer’s established warranty and subject to manufacturer’s conditions and policies.

Concerning the subject of warranties, all other warranties, express or implied, including the implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, are excluded. The implied warranty of merchantability is limited to the six (6) month period of this General Limited Warranty. The exclusive remedy for breach of this limited warranty is provided herein. EMC’s liability for defects in materials or workmanship is limited to repair or replacement of a product manufactured by EMC that is defective in materials and/or workmanship, or refund of the original purchase price of a product.

With respect to pistons only, EMC warrants each piston and piston pin assembly manufactured by EMC to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of shipping. Any EMC piston or piston pin assembly which, under normal and proper use, is proved to be defective either in materials or workmanship will be replaced at no cost to the customer. Any piston claimed to be defective shall, at the option of EMC, be returned prepaid to EMC.

In addition, EMC assumes no responsibility for labor charges, incidental, or consequential damage caused by insufficient return packaging, improper installation, abuse, or racing, EMC will not repair, replace, or refund the purchase price of products damaged by reason of normal wear on the products..

Open and Inspect Immediately

Products to be returned within six (6) months of the purchase date shall, at the option of EMC, be returned prepaid to EMC. Returns must be pre-authorized and may be subject to a minimum 15% restocking fee. After EMC’s receipt of a product, it must pass QA before a refund is processed. Some parts may not be eligible for return and/or exchange.

NOTE: Warranty, Returns and Refunds on remanufactured water pumps and international orders1 are not included in this General Limited Warranty. The provisions of this warranty constitute the only agreement or obligation of EMC.

¹International returns of EMC manufactured products must be pre-approved and returned at the Customer’s expense within six (6) months of the original shipping date. Effective March 2026
